Trust & Estate Administration and Tax Paralegal

We are seeking a Trust & Estate Administration and Tax Paralegal to join a well-regarded legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, and financial professionals while managing complex matters in probate, estate, trust administration, and tax planning.
What You’ll Do
- This position involves a wide variety of responsibilities across client case management, probate and trust administration, and tax preparation support, including:
- Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and correspondence
- Meeting with attorneys, clients, trustees, beneficiaries, and financial advisors
- Researching statutes, regulations, and case law to provide written analysis
- Preparing probate documents, inventories, annual accountings, deeds, settlement agreements, and asset spreadsheets
- Valuing estate assets, calculating fees, and preparing allocation schedules and distribution plans
- Managing compliance calendars, checkbooks, and estate or trust files
- Gathering financial and tax information for fiduciary and final tax returns
- Drafting petitions and supporting documents for estate, trust, probate, and conservatorship matters

Candidate Parameters
- Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience (5+ years preferred)
- Experience in trust & estate administration and/or tax planning
- Strong accounting and financial skills (knowledge of GAAP preferred)
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office and related software)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and empathy
Compensation
- $75,000-$110,000
- Potential for discretionary and performance-based bonuses
