Responsibilities: Medicaid and Estate Paralegal Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To): • Preparing and organizing all documents required for estate plan signing appointments • Conducting client and prospect intake meetings with care and professionalism • Collaborating with attorneys and financial advisors to ensure estate plans are accurately and thoroughly completed • Guiding clients through the signing process for estate planning and financial documents • Interviewing clients to gather key information related to their legal matters • Supporting day-to-day operations by answering phones, maintaining an orderly and confidential file system, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: • 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar • Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly
