    A well-established, multi-practice law firm based in Manchester, Connecticut is seeking a Paralegal to support its estate planning and estate settlement practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on meaningful matters while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

    Position Overview

    The Paralegal will primarily assist with estate planning document preparation and estate administration/settlement files, while also providing support across additional practice areas as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadlines in a client-focused legal setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments

    • Assist with estate settlement matters, including probate filings, asset inventories, accountings, and client correspondence

    • Coordinate with courts, financial institutions, and clients regarding estate administration matters

    • Maintain and organize physical and electronic client files

    • Track deadlines and ensure timely filings

    • Provide administrative and case support to attorneys across multiple practice areas as needed

    Qualifications

    • Prior paralegal experience preferred

    • Experience in estate planning and/or estate settlement strongly preferred; candidates with other relevant legal experience will also be considered

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously

    • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Familiarity with Connecticut probate procedures is a plus
