The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal to join our growing team. This role offers the chance to work directly with the firm’s owner and collaborate with a staff of three Administrative Assistants. You’ll have regular client contact and play a key role in delivering high-quality, personalized legal services. We are open to a remote position for an experienced certified Paralegal. Responsibilities: A Day in the Life • Draft and proofread estate planning and probate documents • Guide clients through probate processes with empathy and clarity • Coordinate workflow and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person • Collaborate with a team that values humor, professionalism, and mutual support • Contribute ideas to improve processes and client experience Responsibilities • Draft, proofread, and edit estate planning and probate documents • Manage probate engagements and assist Personal Representatives/Executors • Coordinate workflow and client intake • Handle calendaring and deadline management • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person • Provide general office support and collaborate across the team Benefits Package • PTO with annual increases • 7 paid holidays • Health Insurance • $1,000 annual education stipend • 401(k) available upon start date • Remote/Hybrid work environment available Qualifications: • Experience: 3–5 years as an estate planning/probate paralegal • Education: Bachelor’s degree + Paralegal Certificate • Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Planner, Teams) • Experience with estate and probate statutory forms • Federal and estate tax return preparation experience is a plus What We’re Looking For • Naturally curious, organized, and detail-oriented • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively • Tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools • Dependable, accountable, and flexible • Committed to confidentiality and client trust Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
