    Position: Civil Litigation Paralegal (Full time)

    Salary: $30 - $40 per hour

    Hogue & Belong, APC is seeking a proactive and experienced civil litigation Paralegal for a full-time position. If you have a history of providing outstanding paralegal service and want to work for one of the most successful plaintiff-side civil litigation firms in San Diego County, this could be the role for you.

    Core Responsibilities/Duties:

    · Oversee the Calendar schedule for hearings, deadlines, meetings, and all other scheduled events

    · Draft templates for pleadings, discovery, and correspondence

    · Both Federal and State Court filings, including the assembly of documents and related exhibits

    · Assistance with preparation for hearings, arbitrations, mediations, depositions, and civil trials

    · Review and draft legal memos, pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery

    · Create and maintain case files

    · Manage, maintain, and organize document production processes

    · Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other third parties

    · Gather and summarize relevant information from a variety of third-party sources

    · Arrange and manage certain appointments and meetings for attorneys

    · Work with the attorneys to proactively manage upcoming deadlines

    · Make and respond to client phone calls and communications

    · Analyze certain document production and depositions and draft summaries of same

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    · Paralegal certificate required

    · Prior class action paralegal experience preferred but not required

    · Must meet the requirements of California Business and Professions Code section 6450

    · Proficiency with Federal/California civil procedure and court rules.

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, or similar software

    · Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills

    · Ability to organize and prioritize workflow for multiple attorneys

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    · Ability to work individually as well as part of a team

    · Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required
