  • Responsibilities

    We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. Responsibilities: • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessible • Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems Key Responsibilities: • Provide outstanding customer service and prompt communication to clients and referral sources. • Maintain and update client projects in the case management system, including relevant events, deadlines, and reminders. • File new entities, amend articles, convert entities, and perform other entity-related work with the Florida and Delaware Divisions of Corporations, with little to no supervision. • Request EINs both online and by paper, independently. • Draft foundational corporate documents (e.g., operating agreements, resolutions, consents, addendums) for attorney review. • Prepare demand letters and cease and desist letters for attorney review. • Complete applications for government agencies (e.g., liquor licenses, trademark applications, nonprofit filings) for attorney review. • Draft contract term sheets for client agreements. Additional Expectations: • Must be open to participating in marketing efforts. • Comfortable with networking and representing the firm in professional settings. • Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Qualifications: • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Talented communicator and writer • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and basic computer skills
