    Hoyer Law is currently hiring a full-time legal professional to join our St. George team — and we’re open to hiring either an experienced paralegal ready to hit the ground running or a skilled legal assistant ready to grow. Hiring timeline: 4 weeks Applications accepted until: August 16, 2025 Position Overview: This role supports our family law attorneys in all aspects of case management. Depending on your experience level, responsibilities will range from administrative assistance to full paralegal drafting and billing. We’re looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and confident working independently in a law office. This role will work closely with our other staff in Lehi, as part of a complete team. If you’re a legal assistant with a strong foundation in law office procedures and a desire to grow into a paralegal role, we’ll provide training. If you’re already a paralegal with experience in family law and billing, we’ll put you to work right away. Compensation is directly related to the level of experience. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. NO REMOTE WORK OPPORTUNITY. This is an in-house, in-person job. Compensation- $20 - $26 per hour, depending on role and experience, full time Responsibilities: • Draft pleadings, disclosures, motions, and discovery documents • Track and enter billable time on a daily basis • Maintain case files, deadlines, and calendars • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel • Prepare trial exhibits and materials • Support attorneys with filings, service, and administrative coordination • Light front desk duties (as needed) Qualifications: • 1–5+ years in a legal assistant or paralegal role • Family law experience preferred • Strong legal writing and formatting skills • Organized, reliable, and proactive • Legal client management software experience • Able to work independently in a small satellite office • Experience with time tracking and hourly billing is required or must be learned quickly • Comfortable learning and using streamlined firm systems Compensation: $20 - $26 hourly DOE
