What You’ll Do As a Paralegal at Loker Law, you’ll be the organizational backbone of our litigation team. You’ll work closely with our attorneys to research, prepare, and manage cases from inception through resolution — ensuring no detail slips through the cracks and every client feels supported along the way. You’ll get to: • Drive litigation efficiency. Our focused consumer protection practice uses streamlined templates and workflows to move cases toward resolution. You’ll help us stay ahead of deadlines, coordinating filings and maintaining meticulous litigation calendars. • Be the voice of support for clients. Regular communication keeps clients informed, reassured, and empowered. You’ll answer calls, gather discovery information, and ensure every client understands where their case stands and what to expect next. Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including complaints, discovery requests/responses, motions, and correspondence. • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including research and fact development. • Manage case files and maintain accurate records in case management systems. • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, provide updates, and support them through the legal process. • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties to schedule hearings, depositions, and mediations. • Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law relevant to consumer protection matters. • Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and other materials for hearings, trials, and arbitration. • Support attorneys in managing deadlines, ensuring compliance with court rules, and filing requirements. • Handle administrative tasks related to case management, including tracking deadlines and filing documents electronically. Qualifications: • Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal (consumer law or litigation experience a plus). • Strong knowledge of Federal and State court filing systems and litigation procedures. • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills. • High attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software. • A genuine commitment to teamwork, precision, and exceptional client care. In-person or hybrid work options will be considered. Compensation: $70,000 yearly
