We are a small Law firm based in Orange County seeking a part-time California Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years current experience to assist with Corporate General Counsel, Litigation, Employment Law Matters, and Oversight of Human Resources for various clients. Must be a self starter with excellent writing skills and the ability to complete tasks quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Record and store client information
Qualifications:
- A minimum experience of three years in a paralegal role
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
- Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, etc.
- Investigative mind and strong research skills
- Working knowledge of legal database software, MyCase, Lexis, etc.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
