Benefits: • Paid holidays • Paid time off (PTO) • Medical, dental, and vision insurance Responsibilities: What You Will Do Case Preparation and Management • Draft, review, and file family law pleadings, including petitions, responses, motions, discovery, and parenting plans, using firm templates • Prepare and manage discovery requests and responses • Track deadlines, hearings, mediations, and notice of appeal periods with precision • Maintain audit-ready digital case files from intake through final decree • Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit binders, and hearing packets • Ensure proper docketing, scheduling, and notification of all parties Client and Attorney Support • Serve as a professional and compassionate point of contact for clients • Respond to client communications within one business day • Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, and court appearances • Support attorneys in hearings, trials, and collaborative meetings • Help families feel informed and supported throughout the process Research, Billing, and Workflow Ownership • Conduct factual and legal research and summarize findings • Record time entries daily in compliance with firm billing standards • Assist with intake, conflict checks, e-filing, and service of process • Proactively identify workflow improvements as the firm scales • Update calendars, tasks, and file notes daily to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Qualifications: What You Bring • 4+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in family law • Strong knowledge of family law procedures, rules of civil procedure, and e-filing systems • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience • Paralegal certificate and applicable credentials • Exceptional organization and attention to detail • High emotional intelligence and compassion in client interactions • Proactive problem-solving and an ownership mindset • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and case management software such as Clio or similar What Success Looks Like Here • You manage cases like a project manager • You anticipate what is needed before it is asked • You build trust with attorneys and clients alike • You bring calm to complex situations You help us deliver Peace, Clarity, and Hope to families navigating difficult transitions.
