We are seeking a detail-oriented, outgoing, and highly motivated Legal Assistant / Paralegal with a minimum of 3 years of recent legal experience, preferably in Estate Planning, Probate, or Corporate matters. A demonstrated commitment to the legal field, strong problem-solving abilities, and a desire to be part of a collaborative team are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Manage calendars, deadlines, and provide administrative and legal support to attorneys • Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail • Assist with Estate Planning, Probate, and Corporate matter workflow and organization • Communicate with clients regarding case status, scheduling, document collection, and follow-up items • Coordinate document signings and assist with client meetings • Maintain electronic client files in accordance with firm standards • Assist in keeping cases and projects moving forward by identifying issues, following up proactively, and helping implement solutions Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Legal Assistant and/or Paralegal, with Estate Planning experience preferred • Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and general legal software platforms • Experience with MyCase and WealthCounsel is a plus • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize numerous tasks efficiently and accurately • Ability to think critically, problem-solve proactively, and take initiative without constant supervision • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, staff, clients, and outside parties • Ability to maintain confidentiality while providing courteous and tactful client service • Strong grammar, proofreading, and written communication skills • Must be dependable, punctual, adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment • Notary Public commission is a significant plus Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly
