Paralegal (Pre-Attorney Sales) Estate Planning $100k to $150k Salary We are a black, female owned Estate Planning law firm in Queens and Nassau County, looking for an experienced paralegal to draft documents and meet with clients. Over the past 5 years, we have figured out how to streamline the drafting and review process for paralegals; so that you can focus on your client’s needs and serve them well. As a result, your value will be maximized, and the number of administrative tasks is greatly reduced.
Since we are a flat-rate based firm, there are no billable hours to track. Your time and focus are spent on your clients.
About The Role The Estate Planning Paralegal role is a full-time, in-office position in Nassau County. We provide extensive training. After learning our methodology and demonstrating Estate Planning knowledge and expertise, you will have the opportunity meet with client prior to their attorney meeting, answering their questions and explaining the “McAdoo Difference.”
Training You will receive training on Estate Planning concepts, the plans and packages that McAdoo Estate Planning offers, our methods for drafting documents, and our quality assurance procedures. Our team fosters a collaborative environment where you can always turn for support and assistance.
Who We’re Looking For
1 to 5 years of Estate Planning Paralegal experience
Experience drafting 50+ Estate Plans
The ability to explain why Probate is terrible and Trusts are a more suitable in all cases
Elder Law experience a plus
An optimistic and driven attitude
Intuitive with great attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Great communication skills and office acumen
Confidence to explain legal concepts in plain English

Responsibilities
Prepare legal documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
Assist clients in understanding estate planning options and processes.
Conduct client meetings to gather necessary information for estate planning.
Manage case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Provide excellent customer service and follow up with clients post-consultation.
Collaborate with attorneys to streamline the estate planning process.
Support marketing efforts to promote estate planning services and increase client engagement.
