Responsibilities: • Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews • Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed • Enjoy assisting attorneys in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption, by preparing documents, conducting research, communicating with clients, and managing case files, while ensuring all legal deadlines are met Qualifications: • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred • Strong oral and written communication skills • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills • Seeking a Divorce and family law Paralegal with experience in a New Jersey Family Law Practice who knows the law and takes pride in providing clients with the highest level of care and service. Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 yearly
