We aim to provide compassionate and effective legal solutions for every client's unique situation. This is a full-time on-site role for a Family Law Paralegal located in Miami, FL. The Family Law Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, reviewing documents, and facilitating effective communication between clients and attorneys. Daily tasks will include managing case files, drafting legal correspondence, and assisting attorneys with case preparation and court filings. Responsibilities: • Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers • Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed • Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer • Conduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issues Qualifications: • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills • Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference • Strong oral and written communication skills • Must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • At least five (5) years of experience with Probate, Guardianship, and Estate Planning Compensation: $70,000
