This Position: As a Probate Paralegal, you will help families by overseeing the Probate Experience, preparing petitions, and explaining the process. We are interested in Paralegals who have a Paralegal certification (comparable work experience considered). This person should have Georgia Probate knowledge/experience. Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities are to own and manage the Probate experience by ensuring client needs and Probate deadlines are met in a timely manner and go as smoothly as possible. • Owns client probate and guardianship experience, overseeing all cases to ensure that all deadlines are met • Draft, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents • Draft petitions and ensure appropriate types are created • Ensure legal documents are prepared in a timely manner and meet required deadlines • Serve as the point of contact for basic client questions that do not require an Attorney • Comfortable with a heavy case load (40+) • Perform other tasks as needed Please note that this role also requires client collections. Candidate must be familiar/comfortable with the collections process. Qualifications: • Georgia Probate knowledge required • Experience with discovery, litigation, mediation, and trial prep- required • Flexibility and the ability to multitask • Strong drafting and writing skills, including great attention to detail and proofreading • Excellent communication skills, including using appropriate tone and professionalism when engaging with clients • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment • A self-starter with a positive attitude, resilient emotional intelligence, strong work ethic, and good judgment • Attention to detail • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Compensation: $55,000 yearly base + Incentives
