    Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal
    Location Options: Chicago, New York, Phoenix, or Washington, DC
    Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office)
    Salary Range: $100K+

    Overview:
    An established law firm is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Paralegal to support its Hospitality & Leisure practice. This position plays a key role in transactional real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development, with a strong emphasis on due diligence and document management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in large-scale real estate transactions, and comfortable handling complex legal processes.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and conduct all phases of real estate due diligence (e.g., title review, surveys, and zoning reports)
    • Assist with drafting and reviewing transfer and closing documents
    • Oversee and support the closing process for various real estate deals
    • Prepare and file UCC financing statements and analyze corresponding search results
    • Facilitate entity formation, annual compliance, and regulatory filings
    • Compile and review organizational documents, certificates, and resolutions
    • Develop and maintain closing checklists, manage signature collection, and oversee timely document delivery
    • Create post-closing binders and indexed closing sets for clients and internal reference
    • Perform legal and factual research to support ongoing matters
    • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and external vendors or parties

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience strongly preferred
    • 5+ years of experience handling real estate transactions in a legal, corporate, or title environment
    • Proven ability to manage title and survey review processes for complex, high-value deals
    • Experience in the hospitality or commercial real estate sector is advantageous
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-first approach
    • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, PDF editing tools, document management platforms, and legal billing/timekeeping systems such as Elite
