    Paralegal – Family Law (On-Site) Renier Hotopp Law Offices, LLC De Pere, Wisconsin (US) Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: Commensurate with Experience Own Case Progress and Client Experience in a High-Impact Legal Role Renier Hotopp Law Offices is hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support attorneys in managing family law cases from start to finish. This on-site role is central to ensuring cases move forward efficiently, deadlines are met, and clients receive consistent, high-quality communication. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a professional who can operate with minimal oversight, produce accurate legal work, and confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. Performance Expectations • Maintain strong client communication with timely responses and no gaps in follow-up • Meet or exceed billable and productivity targets • Deliver highly accurate work with minimal corrections required • Ensure all court filings are error-free and submitted on time • Actively support attorneys and contribute to a collaborative team environment Why Join Renier Hotopp Law Offices • High-impact role with ownership over case progress and client experience • Collaborative and supportive team environment • Opportunity to work closely with attorneys on meaningful family law cases • Growth potential within a structured and performance-driven firm Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities Case Management • Manage family law cases from inception to resolution • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility • Track deadlines and ensure timely filing of all legal documents • Proactively manage task lists to keep cases moving forward Document Preparation • Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, subpoenas, and discovery • Prepare and e-file documents with courts at the county and state level Client Communication • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients • Provide updates and respond to client inquiries within 24–48 hours • Assist clients in completing required forms and gathering documentation Administrative Coordination • Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings • Manage attorney calendars and coordinate logistics • Communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel Trial Preparation • Assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation • Organize exhibits, evidence, and trial notebooks • Coordinate witness logistics and support courtroom preparation Qualifications: • Paralegal experience, preferably in family law • Strong experience with case management, legal drafting, and court filings • Excellent organizational and time management skills • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously • Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients • Experience with legal software such as Clio or similar case management systems preferred Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly
