Compensation • Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 • Benefits package including medical, dental, and vision • Paid time off and holiday schedule Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive legal support to attorneys across personal injury litigation and related practice areas. • Draft, review, and manage legal documents, pleadings, and professional correspondence. • Oversee case timelines by tracking deadlines, maintaining organized case files, and ensuring timely filings. • Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination. • Support client intake, communication, and follow-up with professionalism and cultural awareness. • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to drive efficiency and consistency across the team. • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards in all casework. • Play an active role in shaping a streamlined, effective in-house paralegal function that supports firm-wide goals. Qualifications: • Proven paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. • Skilled problem-solver who can adapt to ambiguity and evolving case needs. • High attention to detail and accuracy across all case documentation. • Litigation support experience preferred, especially in personal injury law. • Demonstrated commitment to serving culturally diverse communities in New Mexico. • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, though not required.
