    Position Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced and organized Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This position will support multiple attorneys across various practice areas. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, divorce petitions, motions, discovery requests, and pleadings

    Assist in preparing criminal defense documentation and client case summaries

    Conduct legal research and summarize statutes, case law, and court procedures

    Maintain organized case files and track deadlines using Legal Practice Management Software (LPMS)

    File documents with local and state courts, both electronically and in person as needed

    Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel professionally and promptly

    Manage case calendars and assist attorneys in preparation for hearings, trials, and client meetings

    Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical guidelines and firm policies

    Qualifications:

    Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program (required)

    Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

    At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law, estate planning, or criminal law

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Legal Practice Management Software (LPMS required)

    Familiarity with Texas court procedures and e-filing systems

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently under deadlines

    Bilingual in(Spanish) is a plus
