Responsibilities: • Gather and compile documents from clients • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents to advance case strategy • Proactively manage case progression by monitoring deadlines, court schedules, and ensuring timely completion of litigation milestones • Provide comprehensive attorney support, including case preparation, document organization, and strategic assistance • Execute electronic filing procedures and maintain accurate court records through various e-filing systems • Drive litigation forward by coordinating with opposing counsel, court personnel, and stakeholders to expedite case movement • Apply extensive knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP) to ensure compliance and identify procedural opportunities • Navigate court systems effectively to secure hearings, resolve scheduling conflicts, and facilitate case advancement • Conduct thorough legal research using various databases and resources to support case development and strategy • Communicate strategically with courts, opposing parties, and third parties to remove obstacles and maintain case momentum • Monitor and enforce deadlines while implementing systems to prevent delays and ensure continuous case progress Qualifications: • Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar • Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills • At least 6 years experience in legal service under attorneys or in law firm setting Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000 yearly
