What You’ll Do You will partner closely with attorneys and clients to keep cases moving forward with excellence and care: • Draft and prepare legal documents (pleadings, affidavits, subpoenas, discovery, correspondence) • Manage case files, deadlines, and workflows with precision and accountability • Communicate with clients and third parties—often at a high volume—with professionalism and empathy • Support discovery: gathering, organizing, and preparing client responses and documentation • Assist in trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and research • Conduct legal research and help attorneys prepare case strategy materials • Coordinate filings, service of process, and case logistics • Track billable time and maintain accurate records in Clio What Sets You Apart • You are exceptionally organized and don’t let details slip • You communicate clearly, professionally, and with emotional intelligence • You can manage multiple priorities without losing quality • You take initiative and ownership—you don’t wait to be told what to do • You bring both precision and compassion to your work Qualifications • Minimum 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm environment (family law preferred) • Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred) • Strong writing and communication skills • Experience with case management systems (Clio preferred) • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general legal tech tools • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and high-volume workflows Compensation & Benefits • $70,000 – $95,000 DOE • Benefits available after 90 days: • Medical Insurance • 401(k) • Paid Holidays + PTO About Us The Law Office of Stacy D. Responsibilities: • Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers • Work with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews • Bill time using Clio or another case management software program • Working knowledge of Excel • Communicate with clients and other third parties via email at a high volume • Manage case deadlines Qualifications: • Talented communicator and writer • Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferred • At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferred • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills Compensation: $70,000 - $95,000 yearly
