We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and managing case files. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations. • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing and maintaining files. • Coordinate and manage deadlines for court filings and legal proceedings. • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials as needed. • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies. • Maintain and update case management systems and databases. • Support attorneys in trial preparation, including compiling exhibits and evidence. • Conduct due diligence and background investigations. Qualifications: • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. • Paralegal certification preferred (e.g., NALA, NFPA, or state-specific certification). • 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department. • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. Compensation: $24 - $26 hourly
