Responsibilities: • Conduct client intake interviews, gather financial and supporting documentation, and maintain accurate case files from initial consultation through case closure. • Manage bankruptcy case workflows, including tracking deadlines, preparing petitions, schedules, and related filings for attorney review. • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status, required documents, court dates, and procedural updates while providing professional and empathetic support. • Maintain case management systems and calendars, monitor filing deadlines, and organize electronic and physical records in compliance with firm procedures. • Assist attorneys with pre-filing preparation, meeting scheduling, document review, and general administrative support related to Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters. Qualifications: • Strong oral and written communication skills • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills • 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting (preferred). Compensation: $49,000 yearly
