Your specific responsibilities as a part of our team will be based on the company’s needs as well as your expertise. This position is responsible for assisting in all company legal matters, including company transactions, intellectual property pursuits, compliance with applicable regulations, company privacy practices, and any litigation. Specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:

• Administering legal department files, emails, projects, and tasks
• Managing contract, patent, trademark, litigation, corporate, compliance, and other company databases and records, and preparing related reports
• Assisting with deadline tracking and following up on delegated projects
• Enforcing intellectual property rights
• Conducting basic contract negotiations and redlines under attorney supervision
• Preparing agreements for execution
• Performing other paralegal tasks as needed
• Communicate potential issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders, to resolve in a timely manner.
• Anything else that arises to support a fast-pace, innovative company.

Qualifications

We seek team members who are adept at contributing their expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 1-5 years experience working within a legal team or law firm
• Proactive, highly motivated, creative, quick thinking, and deadline-driven.
• Keen attention to detail, sound judgment, commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy, resourceful and creative.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Superior organization, self-motivation, and self-management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding reporting, research, and documentation skills.
