Responsibilities: • Take care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documents • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews • Ensure all estate planning documents are drafted with excellence and professionalism. • File new LLCs, draft business documents, and obtain tax ID numbers. • Work with our drafting software. • Prepare deeds to fund trusts. • Draft powers of attorney, health care directives, and work closely with the attorney. • Track important dates and time limits for matters and notify relevant stakeholders as needed. • Deliver best-in-class service to clients. • Work cheerfully with colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment. • Train and be trained on all firm systems, processes, and subject matter. Qualifications: • Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education • ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired • Strong oral and written communication skills • 3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting • Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skills Compensation: $25 - $28 hourly
