    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal for our Pre-litigation Department to join our team on-site in our Burbank office. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of legal experience in employment litigation or pre-litigation. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing intake files, speaking with clients, evaluating the legal strength of potential claims, and drafting clear recommendations for attorney review.

    Position Summary

    We are hiring (3) three in-house Litigation Evaluation Paralegals to join our Demands Team at our Burbank, CA office. These roles are central to the early development of employment pre-litigation matters, requiring a high level of client engagement, legal analysis.

    The ideal candidates will bring prior experience in a law office or legal environment, with a strong preference for those who have worked in employment law or civil litigation. You must be comfortable managing a high caseload , conducting sensitive client interviews by phone, and drafting demand letters to serve as a notice of claims.

    Success in this role requires excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong legal writing abilities and a high degree of attention to detail. You should be highly organized, a proactive team player, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.     Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and Mail Demand Letters: Accurately prepare demand letters to all relevant parties in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company procedures and deadlines.
    • Case File Documentation: Log each demand letter into the case management system immediately after mailing, ensuring that all actions are properly documented for tracking and audit purposes.
    • Quality Control: Review demand letters for accuracy, completeness, and correct recipient information prior to mailing to prevent errors or reissuance.
    • Database Management: Maintain up-to-date records in the case file system, including dates mailed, recipients, and confirmation of delivery when applicable.
    • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to verify case details before finalizing the demand letter process.
    • File Organization: Ensure physical and digital copies of demand letters and related correspondence are properly labeled and filed in the appropriate case folder.
    • Tracking and Reporting: Generate daily or weekly mailing logs and progress reports for management to ensure workflow transparency and accountability.
    • Confidentiality: Handle all client and case information with the utmost discretion and in compliance with firm privacy policies and legal standards.

    • Comfortable discussing sensitive legal topics with clients via phone
