    JOB DESCRIPTION BASIC PURPOSE: To design and produce collateral that supports a unified branding strategy that aligns with Client's strategic goals, encourages engagement and strengthens the organization's reputation as an employer of choice. Serve as subject matter expert to provide advanced knowledge of design programs, design principles, design development standards, techniques and methodologies and ability to apply them. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and execute designs and visual brandings related to Client's strategy including online, print, multimedia, presentation, display and other interactive collateral Considerable Impact • Participate in strategic/conceptual development meetings with clients to determine project requirements, objectives and creative direction Assist in Leading • Work closely with clients as a Trusted Advisor to develop materials that meet/exceed their needs and expectations and comply with branding, trademark and other company and industry standards Assist in Leading • Conduct research, conceptualize and develop several strong, persuasive ideas that address the goals and purpose of the credit union Complex/Varied • Serve as creative resource and point of contact for management on design and branding standards, and production methods and timelines Considerable Impact • Present creative concepts to management for complex and/or extended branding campaigns Complex/Varied • Create and implement designs for projects Considerable Scope • Lead or participate in cross-departmental project teams to enhance and develop products/services and plan/implement marketing campaigns • Monitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule; collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met Considerable Impact • Incorporate and leverage best industry practices while maintaining alignment with Client goals and capabilities Complex/Varied • Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions that align with business goals • Lead, guide and mentor less experienced staff • Ensure designs are aligned with Client's strategic vision • Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience • Advanced experience using design programs within Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, along with creating print and online collateral Advanced knowledge of design principles, design development standards, techniques and methodologies and ability to apply them • Advanced knowledge of design fundamentals such as color theory, typography and composition • Advanced experience in visual design and knowledge of industry standards • Advanced experience designing and developing presentations in PowerPoint for multiple audience levels • Advanced experience applying new programs and technologies to design and communication challenges • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions • Advanced skill exercising professionalism, composure under pressure, and flexibility • Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely • Advanced verbal and written communication skills • Significant experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects • Significant experience in working with all levels of staff, management, and stakeholders • Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals • Advanced organizational, planning and time management skills • Advanced research, analytical, and problem solving skills • Advanced skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience leading, guiding and mentoring others • Working knowledge of Client products, services, programs, policies and procedures BANK SECRECY SECTION (BSA): Remains cognizant of and adheres to Client policies and procedures, regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
