    EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another Scientific/Technical discipline

    POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client is recruiting for the DevSecOps Product Engineer for the Army Futures Command (AFC)Data & Decision Sciences Division (AFC DDSD) in Austin, TX. In this AFC, uses the Modernization Application & Data Environment (MADE) in a managed service provider style model to enable subordinate elements throughout AFC to access cloud services. AFC DDSD has primary responsibility for the provisioning and operating the shared common services, maintaining approved desired state configurations for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) deployments, operating and maintaining a central data warehouse capability, and maintaining the Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation for the commons services and environmental level accreditation in a manner that maximizes inheritance.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Assist existing software development teams with the transition from legacy development practices to DevSecOps development practices.
    • Be responsible for the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines within the existing DevSecOps platform infrastructure. Have a passion for agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
    • Experienced in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools.
    • Experienced in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications.
    • Have a working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Working with or at least have knowledge of the Software Build process and a strong "security first" mindset.
    • A DevSecOps Engineer on the Product Support team should have a passion for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for multiple product teams and working with the platform team.
    • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Scientific/Technical discipline and 2 years of related DevSecOps engineer work experience.
    • Must meet IAT-I requirements as specified in DoD 8570.01-M.
