    Our client is looking for Technical Architect as SMEs to provide coordination of development efforts in a complex environment, ensuring that the timing of development efforts is fully synchronized.

    • Provide coordination of development efforts across the program offices.
    • Provide analysis of the Program's source code to ensure no negative impact to other applications, common or shared interfaces, and/ or systems.
    • Capable of reviewing documentation to identify gaps and issues associated with system design, architecture or integration and migrations strategies.
    • Report any negative impact identified in the Program's source code to the Government lead and task order COR.
    • Responsible for the architectural design, development, and deployment of portfolio applications
    • Assists in defining system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
    • Works with Enterprise Architecture team and assists in development of policies for standardizing systems, development tools, and security practices.
    • Assists in defining and executing established technology insertions and cloud migration strategy at the portfolio level.
    • Provides expertise and guidance for the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of IT solutions that enhance overall system performance and availability.
    • Provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, and advice that result in timely and effective implementations.
    • Lead migration of legacy applications to containerized solutions such as Openshift, Kubernetes, EKS, Konvoy
    • Architecting and deploying cloud-native applications onto Amazon Web Services (AWS) or similar Identifying requirements, researching options, designing, and implementing solutions at a leadership level for the application.
    • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessments.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:

    • 12-15 Years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise level systems Extensive understanding and experience programming and designing software using Java, J2EE, Angular, ReactJS, Spring MVC, JQuery, JSF, JSP, MyBatis, Hibernate, IBM MQ, Kafka, ELK, PLSQL, Oracle, WebLogic, Tomcat and AWS cloud services.
    • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex IT solutions on a large Program Demonstrated experience designing and modernizing complex enterprise networks and legacy IT systems, including developing effective COOP/DR solutions
    • Hands-on experience on design, development, and testing of functional modules in Java, J2EE technologies and design patterns, and databases
    • Use and customize source code analysis tools, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses and determining the suitability for a given software/customer environment, coordinate development efforts.
    • Demonstrated experience with Linux and Windows Servers
    • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell and Linux (bash, tcsh, csh)
    • Experience in planning, deploying, and maintaining VMware vSphere environments.
    • Experience in Oracle DB, JDBC, working knowledge of JPA (Hibernate)
    • Working knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and frameworks (dojo, jQuery, YUI)
    • Experience with application servers: WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat
    • Familiarity with using DevSecOps and Cloud technologies

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience working on Federal Grant systems and/or operations
    • Experience with Agile methodology such as Scrum
    • Graduate degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to interpret requirements and corresponding flows to develop code.
    • Ability to articulate technical viewpoints to team members and clients.
    • Must be a self-starter/self-reliant to define strategies and work collaboratively to harden/publish strategies.
    • Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and deliver high quality products and customer services.
    • Working experience in a large complex enterprise.
