    Job Title: Paramedic Supervisor

    Location: Chatham NY Position Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $36.00 – $38.00 per hour

    Position Summary

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Paramedic Supervisor to provide leadership, support, and oversight to our emergency medical services team. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining operational readiness, and supporting staff development while upholding organizational standards and protocols.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supervise and support paramedics and EMT staff during daily operations

    Respond to emergency calls as needed and provide advanced life support (ALS) care

    Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, safety regulations, and company policies

    Conduct field evaluations, performance assessments, and coaching for team members

    Oversee shift scheduling, staffing levels, and resource allocation

    Serve as the primary point of contact for on-duty personnel

    Assist with incident reviews, documentation audits, and quality improvement initiatives

    Coordinate with hospitals, public safety agencies, and other partners

    Participate in training, onboarding, and continuing education efforts

    Qualifications

    Current Paramedic certification/license (state-specific requirements apply)

    Minimum of 3–5 years paramedic experience, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    Current certifications (or ability to obtain):

    BLS (Basic Life Support)

    ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

    PALS or equivalent

    Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

    Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations

    Preferred Qualifications

    Prior experience in EMS supervision or field training officer (FTO) role

    Knowledge of EMS regulations, compliance standards, and documentation systems

    Experience with scheduling systems and operational management

    Work Schedule

    36 hours per week

    Weekend rotation required

    Flexibility to work nights, holidays, and extended shifts as needed
