Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Lab Operations Assistant to join our growing team!

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pre-analytical specimen handling in a clinical laboratory along with a firm understanding of LIS systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Specimen Processing teams with day-to-day management at various locations
• Assist with client services and other departments with process concerns and issues
• Assist with results and medical records
• Assist with policy and process development for pre- and post-analytical guidelines
• Monitor inventory samples and supplies
• Maintain QA for LIS system
• Assist and coordinate lab compliance documentation submissions
• Heavy involvement in overall data management for Lab Operations department including but not limited to clinical personnel data, inspection results and responses, SOP creation and management, updating of lab information in various databases, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a medical lab or other related fields required
• Attention to detail a must
• Must be a proactive and solution oriented individual
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
• Familiarity with common medical terminology preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in LABGEN a huge plus!!
