JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Business Development Specialist to join our Sales & Marketing team. As a BDS, you will be at the front of Paramount’s go-to-market strategy and will be responsible for developing new leads and generating appointments and opportunities for the Paramount Sales Team. You will act as the first contact for many of our prospects and will develop a strong understanding of Paramount’s sales process. Their primary responsibility is to develop new leads and appointments for the Paramount Sales Team through outbound prospecting by telephone, email, and social outreach. Additional responsibilities include working closely with lead generation agencies to assist with lead qualification and providing support at trade shows. This role will be required to communicate with prospects, understand their needs, and ensure a smooth transition to the sales team. To be successful as a BDS you should be able to build instant rapport with prospective customers and achieve a foundation for high customer satisfaction.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
CAN PROVIDE EXAMPLES OF PROVEN, SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING KEY AREAS:
· Business Development, Sales, Cold-Calling, Appointment setting, or similar role
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Working and collaborating with Sales Teams
· Consistently achieving quota to exceed growth objectives
EXPERIENCE OR EXPOSURE TO:
· Cold outreach with new prospects by telephone, email, and socials
· Working within a CRM software
· Researching new prospects and qualifying based on Ideal Customer Profile
