Job Description
This is a fulltime COLLECTIONS & CUSTOMER SERVICE OPPORTUNITY that requires you to work a set schedule Monday through Friday (MANDATORY 40 HOURS). We are looking for a team player who is looking forward to furthering their career with a stable company!
WHAT DO WE DO AND WHO WE ARE?
- A creditor/lender who operates financial store front locations across the United States to lend money to consumers for various product types
- Payday loans (Offered in Certain States)
- A cash advance loan where the customer’s job is listed as the collateral
- Money is due on their next payday
- Title loans
- A loan where the customer’s vehicle is listed as the collateral
- Customers take their vehicle to a store front location to be inspected
- If they own their title and have possession of it, they will lend them money
- Customers are required to come back to the store and make payments based on the agreement they sign
- Signature loans (Installment Loan)
- A loan that requires customers to go through an underwriting criterion and complete a credit check, employment check, etc.
- Once approved, you receive the loan and pay it back through installments (several payments)
- Customers can take out this loan in person or over the internet (depending on the state they are located in)
- When customers become delinquent on their accounts, Collection Agents reach out to discuss delinquent/defaulted debt
- You could also be reaching out to customers to provide Customer Service as needed
- All customers that Agents speak with are internal customers
- You are NOT calling on behalf of different companies)
- This collection process is called “FIRST PARTY STYLE COLLECTIONS”
- Headquarters are located north of Atlanta and have been in their home office for over 25 years
**YOU WILL BE WORKING ON CAMERA IN A VIRTUAL CALL CENTER SETTING
- The expectation is that everyone presents themselves in a professional manner.
- You must have a workplace that is distraction free and has privacy to complete your calls each day.
PAYRATE: $17 per hour (Paid Weekly!)
SET SCHEDULE: Mandatory 40 Hours Each Week
- Monday – Saturday 8:30AM-5:15PM Eastern Time for training for 2 weeks then it will be 8AM-5PM EST
- MUST be open to any 5 day work week Monday-Saturday with 2 days off
- Subject to change based on the season and business needs
- MUST be open from 8 AM to 7 PM Eastern Time
- Agents will have ample notice if schedule changes
JOB DETAILS
- Making high volume outbound calls to customers who are 30-60-90 days behind on their business or car loans
- Discussing payment plan options to bring past-due accounts back current
- Offering exceptional customer service
- Notating customer’s accounts with accurate information
- Ensuring all questions and needs are met before the end of the call
REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have your own WINDOWS BASED COMPUTER for this opportunity
- Must have your own internet router or modem that is located close to your workspace (UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD SPEED: 35 MINIMUM)
- At least two years of recent call center experience - Collections experience strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test within 24 hours of accepting the position
- Work from home call center experience preferred but not required
