• Job Summary

The primary objective of a server is to guide guests through a phenomenal, personalized dining experience by suggestively selling items tailored to the individual needs of the guests, sending orders correctly to the kitchen and bar, checking in with guests throughout their time to ensure everything is up to their standard. All of this being done with an emphasis on hospitality.

Responsibilities

Greeting guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner

Making guests aware of all food and drink specials

Using suggestive selling skills to create a better experience for the guest and a higher check average

Knowing when someone is too intoxicated and when to stop serving a guest

Inputting orders into the Breadcrumb POS

Checking in with guests after each course to ensure everyone is happy

Clean at appropriate times

Taking payments, closing check using POS, and cash handling

Assisting in bussing, resetting tables, and keeping the dining room clean and presentable

Communication with other staff members, management, and kitchen

Completing running sidewalk, restock, and shift duties
