    We’re hiring a personable dental assistant to provide extraordinary customer service to our patients. Responsibilities include assisting our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. Responsibilities: • Walk patients through a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile • Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist • Write down treatment information after every visit and ensure patient records include current dental histories • Support staff with administrative duties such as saying hello to patients, answering phones and making appointments for upcoming dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing • Inform patients about proper oral health care to prevent infections after dental procedures • Help educate parents and children on the importance of good oral health care • Assist providers with dental operative procedures • Assist the patient through the oral hygiene process, coronal polishing, and X-rays • Sterilize instruments • Support the clinical team • Prepare treatment rooms Qualifications: • Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service • Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills • Able to perform basic computer and data entry tasks • Must have an associate degree in an accredited dental assistant program • Candidates must have graduated from a dental assistant program • Must have dental radiology/x-ray certification Compensation: $20 - $30 hourly
