    Executive Summary:

Do you love building, creating, and innovating? Do you have a passion to listen well, connect with those who are unconnected, and pursue those who are distant? Are you comfortable exploring, experimenting, and inviting others to help you?

If so, you may be the next student ministry intern for Park Road Presbyterian Church in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.

Park Road is a vibrantly revitalizing congregation who averages 30 kids in the children's ministry, sees hundreds attend multiple outreach events throughout the year, supports nearly 30 mission partners locally, nationally, and internationally, and releases members to serve in homeless shelters and food pantries across the region.

Where Park Road needs help - where we need you - is to help invest in and rebuild our student ministry. Currently consisting of 4 students in grades 5-7 and another 5 students in grades 8-12, this is a fantastic opportunity to generate momentum and create regular rhythms of discipleship. You will partner with busy families by: discipling students, equipping parents to disciple their own children, and inviting families into a deeper relationship with Jesus.

While you serve the families of Park Road, you'll receive coaching, equipping, and pastoral formation, and leadership development in two significant ways:

    • The Park Road staff is committed to formative relationships, healthy leadership, and practical wisdom. Twice a month staff meetings and regular, ongoing one-on-one meetings develop team cohesiveness and individual ability.
      • The Park Road staff consists of a senior pastor, an administrative pastor, a children's ministry director, and a worship intern.
    • Park Road is also partnering with Christian Endeavor for their Synergy mentorship program to make sure you have all of the tools and support that you need to flourish in ministry.
