NOW HIRING - MULTI-FUNCTIONAL OPERATOR

SHIFTS: 

2nd Shift: Mon.-Thurs. 3:30pm-1am, Fri. 10am - 2pm

POSITION SUMMARY

Operate cell equipment in the manufacturing of quality product. Measure, cut and tack weld various forms of springs and then insert them into the seal per appropriate work instructions. Collect process data where applicable, and aid in the instruction and training of lower-level operators.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operate multi pieces of cell equipment and/or processes used to wind springs or shape springs.

• Measure, cut and weld springs prior to insertion into the seal being manufactured.

• Run quality products at efficient rate

• Aid in the training of cell employees

• Collect SPC data

• All other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education – High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) – or work equivalent

Experience – 1+ years of experience in operating cell equipment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Intermediate reasoning level – follow schedules and work instructions

• Basic language skills – read work instructions, fill out required records

• Intermediate mathematical skills – compute simple equations by hand or with calculator

• Ability to read blue prints

• Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screen

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots as needed per position

• Forklift Licensed
• Mechanical Assembly Skills
• Packaging Experience
• Meets Physical Requirements
• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

SALARY INFO:

$18.08 - $22 / HR
