    Overview

    Primary responsiblity to repair, maintain and perform routine maintenance on production equipment, plant utilities, plant service equipment, building, grounds and misc. other.

    Responsibilities

    • Daily attendance is a requirement of the job, as is arriving on Overtime is expected when customer demand dictates the need.

    • **Electrical: **Perform electrical troubleshooting, read’s electrical diagrams and Able to read electrical schematics must be able to read P& ID drawings, use handheld voltage meter, ammeters, etc.

    • Mechanical : Responsible to install special functional and structural parts in Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instrumentation. Maintains and repairs air compressors, air dryers, gas systems, alarm system, water, and vacuum systems, etc. Follows Preventive Maintenance Instructions and ensures that the records for such are properly documented.

    • **PLC’s: **Read and interprets PLC Trouble-shoot problems in PLC hardware and software.

    • Fabrication : Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Conduct periodic inspections to determine required maintenance workflow. Design/Build parts as needed for plant using all mill wright tools (lathe, welding, press, etc.)

    • Heating/Cooling : Familiarity with air conditioning and heating circuits, trouble shooting and repair chillers and air

    • Project s: Must be well rounded maintenance person and must have knowledge and experience in areas of troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatics and electrical motion control components.

    • Actively participate and support the plant’s safety Report any injury or near miss immediately to your Group Lead or EHS Manager. Report all unsafe conditions immediately to a Group Lead, Value Stream Manager or EHS Manager.

    • Actively participate in the High-Performance Team designated for your The HPTs are meant to improve the work experience by allowing the employees an opportunity to offer suggestions for improvement.

    • Record accurate and timely data on daily labor

    • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work Keep all walkways and aisle free of any debris or clutter. Maintain 5S standards by returning tools to shadow boards. Sweep floor and finishing area as needed.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    **Education: **High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required associate degree (two-year college or technical school): Preferred

    Experience: 3 plus years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment

    Computer Skills: Must have basic background in PLCs. Possess an understanding of predictive SAP or other ERP System Experience. Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office.

    **Certifications & Licenses:**Previous Forklift Certification plus certification on other mobile equipment such as scissor lifts.

    Must be certified by the facility to operate any powered industrial equipment

    $27.26 - $38.43 / hr
