    Job Summary:

    Lead and manage the quality function, promote the lean culture and maintain the quality philosophy for the division at the plant level. Establish, optimize and maintain an efficient quality management system. Implement the division's quality plan at the plant level to achieve the division's overall quality objectives. Enhance and improve the products and services of the division by implementing ISO 9001, problem-solving tools, prevention methods, quality-at-the-source and continual improvement techniques.

    • Disseminate customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to ensure product quality, contract compliance and customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure effective documentation and implementation of the quality management system to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements in accordance with corporate/division policies.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure that individuals who perform functions that affect quality are trained and demonstrate the appropriate skills and performance results.
    • Coordinate with the necessary personnel at the plant for internal, customer and third-party quality system audits. - Maintain a corrective action system to analyze and correct non-conforming conditions and complaints.
    • Implement performance measurements necessary to effectively evaluate organizational performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction and the cost of poor quality. Utilize the results of performance evaluation to target improvement efforts.
    • Evaluate supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure the desired levels of performance.

    Requirements:

    • B.S. Degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in Quality, Engineering or a related field.
    • Certification in IATF16949 is required.
    • Preferably certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Certified Quality Improvement Coordinator(CQE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), or Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr).
    • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality practices is essential.
    • Experience with quality improvement tools and techniques (i.e., Lean, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and Failure Mode & Effects Analysis).
    • Leadership, project management, facilitation and problem-solving skills are required.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
