Position Summary
This assembler is known as a 'bag assembler'.
You will use an industrial sewing machine (it helps if you’ve had previous experience sewing on a residential machine, but it's not required). The assembler will predominately sew large pieces of fiberglass sheets together, use an automated machine to turn them inside out, and then sew them closed. The pieces are used in railroad filtration units. Finger strength and dexterity are a must.
Second Shift Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:20pm – 1:40am (10 hours). Scheduled Saturday, 10am to 3pm (5 hours).
Lancaster's Parker Hannifin Filtration--Wages & Benefits:
Pay range $16.50/hour with 90-day increases, capping out at $17.50.
2nd
shift differential pay $1.00/hour
Sign on Bonus $750; after 90 days
Paid Holidays (13 days each year), Vacation (10 days per year) and Sick Time (40 hours)
