Job Description

Parker+Lynch have partnered with a client in the software space who are looking for an experienced, self-directed, Accountant to join their team. This is a consulting role requiring at least 5 years of experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition compliance and a great opportunity to be a key contributor in a growing organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONSULTANT INCLUDE:

·         Provide guidance on new standards and revenue recognition guidelines

·         Work closely with other finance managers in ensuring accurate reporting for all closes

·         Documentation of technical accounting memos and supporting documentation

·         Work closely with global controller to ensure timely audits           

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·         BS in finance/accounting or equivalent experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP

·         CPA Strongly preferred

·         Public accounting experience and experience in SaaS business model and growing organization

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience with strong focus in ASC 606 revenue recognition and compliance

·         Experience with multiple entity consolidations, audit and financial preparation for those subsidiaries

·         Advanced knowledge with NetSuite or equivalent software
