    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Recruiting Coordinator is primarily responsible for prospecting new candidates as identified by  HR, via strategic recruiting activity. Recruiters must be able to identify and network with prospective job seekers and assist in developing recruiting strategies for specific open positions. Excellent communication and writing skills are required for electronic communication as well as high level of competency for navigating through web-driven job platforms and applicant tracking systems. The Recruiter partners with HR in order to fulfill the requirements of each department within PRG.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Identifies and Networks to potential candidates /job seekers through creative recruiting strategy, including the use of internal database, job boards, social networking and events and college recruitment

    • Maintain and update a prospective candidate pipeline

    • Maintain and update job descriptions

    • Responsible for job postings per HR directives and operational needs

    • Follow ATS workflow and manage all communication with candidates

    • Schedules all candidate calls, video calls, and interviews

    • Send and monitor completion of assessment tests and provide to HR

    • Document all candidate conversations into internal databases, for historical data and productivity reporting

    • Work with HR and Marketing to create engaging campaigns and post job openings on social media and job platforms including Linkedin and company job pages

    • Research and identify job fairs in new and existing markets

    • Represent Parker Restaurant Group in a professional and positive manner in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Accept direction and constructive criticism from management.

    • Be able to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends and increased work schedules.

    • Maintain a positive, pleasant attitude every shift.

    • Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of a shift.

    • Must be able to work at approximately 36” table/bar and reach 36”.

    • Must be able to lift and carry sacks, boxes, product up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level, approximately 20 feet.

    • Must be able to reach (6” to overhead), bend, stoop, wipe.

    • Must be willing to perform other duties assigned as needed.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Driven and hard-working

    • Ability to take direction and multi-task

    • Google Suite, MS Office experience

    • 2 years recruiting experience

    • Extensive knowledge of applicant tracking software programs

    • Familiarity with online job search websites

    GENERAL RULES:

    • May not resort to any type of violence, discriminatory or harassing behavior.

    • Must successfully pass a drug and alcohol test within 90 days of hire date, where applicable.
