Fashion Furniture Rental is looking for a Designer to join Parker Rose Design, Fashion Furniture Rental's design division. We are searching for a hard working and creative individual with experience and a passion for interior design. Parker Rose Design specializes in design for realtors, homeowners, spec builders, developers, condo conversions, property management, and the apartment industry. The ideal candidate will be upbeat, outgoing, driven, and have a strong work ethic. This individual will work in Northern California (Bay Area). Fashion Furniture Rental has been in business for over 30 years, and continues to serve the California Marketplace. With distribution centers in Northern and Southern California, we continue to efficiently provide unparalleled service to all of our valued customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Ability to read floor plans and space plan to scale. - Ability to project manage through installations. - Full knowledge of inventory. - Understanding contracts and working with budgets. - Designing and installing jobs of all levels and sizes. - Ability to put together client presentations and present to clients. - Ability to do job walks and create bids for jobs. - Knowledge of client proposals and pricing. - Client contact and sales assistance. - Work with Fashion Furniture Sales Reps from FFR on all business referred to PRD i.e. clubhouse or other common areas as needed. - Ability and experience in assisting client in surface selection. - Presentation boards. - Problem solving and creativity on job site. - Taking the lead on some on Sales calls and Sales tasks. - Update and maintain outlook calendar daily. - Ability to document all lead activity in SalesForce. - Ability to work with property management personnel to gain approvals of model designs and work through scheduling of models. - Ability to walk Luxury Leasing leads for scope of design and other information as needed. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Other duties may be assigned. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field. 3 years in design industry. Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday).
