    About the E-Commerce Technology Project Manager:

    The E-Commerce Technology Project Manager will be responsible for upgrading all company technology, cybersecurity, data security procedures, and workflows with the goal of helping the company go from $25M to $100M in annual sales. This role will lead the technology team that builds out, updates, and integrates the company's e-commerce stores for the company's largest clients. The E-Commerce Technology Project Manager is going to lead projects from discovery to delivery through planning, prioritization, and aligning all projects with the senior leadership team. Our client needs an E-Commerce Technology Project Manager who is able to scope out and build new custom e-commerce apps for Shopify and Ruby on Rails platforms. This role will represent the company's software development expertise in winning new business along with the sales department. The E-Commerce Technology Project Manager will take ownership of all technical aspects of e-commerce including managing end-to-end 3-tier testing for feature requests and store builds.

    • Manage the company's biggest customer's international partner relationships and e-commerce platforms.
    • Scope out large e-commerce builds.
    • Project manage all software upgrades and integrations.
    • Continuously maintain and upgrade the company website built on Wix.
    • Manage all technology vendor relationships and seek new partnerships when needed.
    • Be the point of contact for clients, third-party vendors, and the company's client management team to demo and deliver e-commerce store launches and feature additions.

    Background Profile:

    • 5+ years of experience in Shopify development and management
    • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce leadership and other related experience.
    • A solid track record and proven experience in large-scale technology project management including software builds and upgrades
    • Experience building out modern web applications on e-commerce platforms
    • Effectively managed remote teams that communicate and work globally across multiple time zones
    • Demonstrated leadership in best practices for modern website performance including CSS, architecture, accessibility, and SEO
    • Experience with Agile development methodologies
    • Working knowledge of: data security workflows, procedures, certifications, Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL, and warehouse management systems/software (latest frontend and backend frameworks)

    • Ability to work full-time in an office setting
