Construction Inspector

Our well-established client is seeking our next Construction Inspector in Quincy, MA. They are a growing national firm focusing on civil engineering, construction management, and environmental permitting. They strive to give their clients exactly what they need, document it well, and keep a solution-focused attitude with contractors. Their exciting projects (related to municipal, large developments, and transit) are ready for you to dive into.

Requirements:

• 5- 10 years of relevant work experience.
• CESCL-certified and OSHA-10-certified.
• Knowledge of Civil and Electrical Utilities.
• Experience needed in the following areas, overseeing inspections on municipal projects, transportation projects and reporting to a Resident Engineer.
• Understanding of the following project specifications, change orders, submittals and inspection daily reports (IDR).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to provide and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Conduct inspections to ensure projects meet quality and safety standards.
• Document project progress and communicate effectively with contractors and clients.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to manage schedules and costs efficiently.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to project management, minimizing surprises and delays.
