The right candidate is an experienced social media account manager, talented content creator with the ability to understand what will drive user engagement. This person who also has a strong copy background will be an integral part of the in-house creative team producing unique content experiences. Skills:
The Social Media Manager should possess a deep understanding and thorough knowledge of conceptualizing, executing and reporting on organic and paid social media campaigns.
Manage the vision and development of social media strategy, content creation, posting, and follow up.
Assess potential opportunities, manage social media communities, and coordinate all posts and content.
Experience working with social media listening tools, monitor and follow up on opportunities.
Align promotional social media strategies with campaign initiatives and partnerships.
Assist in the design, development, and launch of end-to-end social campaigns to increase user engagement and lead acquisition.
Experience in influencer outreach and engagement.
Experience in social media reporting using Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, etc.
Requirements:
3 years social media strategy and content creation experience
Superior copywriting skills
Strong creative, project management, and strategic skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to be collaborative and to adjust quickly to changes
Detail-oriented, with strong cross-team collaboration skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
We are looking for either independent contractor or possibly a full time position depending on candidate/
Preferred Education:
BS degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related discipline
Online portfolio or links to at least 5 samples of content written is required.
