POSITION SUMMARY The Instructional Design Intern will create learning content including videos, job aids and other learning resources to support architecture and engineering sectors. Works under the supervision of the Learning and Development Manager and Director of Project Delivery.  Partners with subject-matter experts (SMEs) and collaborates with team members to meet operational goals.

Our internship program offers students the opportunity to contribute to the success of Parkhill’s learning objectives, to expand on classroom experience and to contribute to their portfolio.

This internship includes the following:

• Orientation and Onboarding
• Professional Development Workshops
• Networking Opportunities
• Executive Exposure
• Partnering with cross functional teams to develop and design resources applying design model principles such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning and knowledge transfer.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Competencies include time management, relationship building, teamwork, communication, technical writing and organization.

 SYSTEMS

LMS authoring tools, video editing software and Microsoft products.

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

Junior or senior in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, video production and/or editing. PLEASE PROVIDE A COPY OF TRANSCRIPT AND SAMPLE PORTFOLIO.
