Parkhill is seeking a Civil EIT/EI with a desire to specialize in Land Development/Site Development to join our team in Amarillo, Lubbock or Midland, Texas.

• Knowledge of general civil engineering subjects such as water resources, hydrology and hydraulics, surveying, transportation, and geotechnical concepts

 TYPICAL TASKS TO BE PERFORMED INCLUDE:

• Contacting city staff and agencies for project coordination and data collection
• Basic design and calculations to support site grading, drainage analysis, water and sanitary sewer utilities and paving improvements
• Development of construction plans, specifications, and Opinions of Probable Costs
• Visiting construction sites to observe progress and conformance to plans and specifications

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required, with expectation of eligibility for professional engineering licensure
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D software
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Experience with ArcGIS, FlowMaster is desirable
• Previous civil engineering design experience is desirable
