    Since 1969, our company has grown to eight offices across the United States, which serve three main categories: Parking (Access and Revenue Control Systems), Electronic Security (Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Systems), and Physical Security (Gate Operators, Turnstiles and Crash Barriers).

    New project installation is completed by a team of technicians by following specifications and site drawings. Technicians are responsible for completing the installation, providing proper documentation of checklists and testing, and training facilities staff to operate the new system.

    Service calls are typically scheduled during normal business hours, calls after hours and weekends can occur. Technicians are responsible for identifying the problem, providing a solution, and completing the corresponding service ticket/work order with client authorization.

    Position Overview

    We're currently hiring for a Parking & Security Field Technician in our Cleveland location. Parking & Security Technicians are responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining parking systems for customers in our service area. Our technicians spend approximately 90% of their time in the field, with 10% of their time at the office for supplies, safety meetings, and paperwork.

    Our parking technicians sometimes come from an electronic / electro-mechanical / electrical background. We've had success with Navy and Air Force electronics technicians, tech school/trade school graduates, ATM and casino equipment technicians, and oil & gas technicians looking for something more regular. We provide both structured and on-the-job training for our equipment.

    Technicians should have the following:

    • Ability to pass drug screening, background check
    • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Intermediate PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Windows
    • Personal and professional integrity
    • Knowledge of structured cabling: Cat5e, Cat6
    • Understanding of electrical circuits and wiring in low-voltage applications
    • Experience configuring IP-based products and a basic understanding of computer networking (a plus, not required)
    • Experience with Amano McGann Parking Access and Revenue Control Systems installations or other manufacturers (a plus, not required)
    • Systems Integration experience (a plus, not required)
    • A degree/certification in electronics, computer science, systems administration, or welding (a plus, not required)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
