    Business Development Center Representative (BDC)

    Job Description

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service. The candidate will genuinely believe their role as a customer service representative makes a difference with each customer. This role does require that the candidate have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

    • Obtain the sales log from the sales tower and all appointment logs from the previous day.

    • Confirm all appointments for that day.

    • Review the Log to confirm showed appointments and call all unsold showroom traffic and all no-show appointments.

    • Management must be notified if you leave your desk. If you must leave, make sure another CSR is in the BDC to handle calls or notify Operator to forward calls as per their SOP.

    • All incoming calls are to be logged on an inbound sheet.

    • All appointments are logged on the Daily Appointment Log.

    • Everyday follow-up calls will be made to all customers spoken to previously to find out if they showed, sold, or bought elsewhere.

    • To maintain proficiency employees are required to attend mandatory training.

    • Appointments MUST be entered into the CRM Software.

    • Asking for Referrals and Prospecting the Household is utterly important and needs to be done on every inbound call or follow-up call.

    • Distribute leads to salespeople as directed by management following the log procedure.

    • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative

    • Strong phone contact handling and active listening

    • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to diverse types of characters

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

    • Drive and determination

    • Vibrant personality and professional presence

    • Articulate self-starter and team player

    Requirements

    • Valid Driver’s License

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet time deadlines, and perform under pressure.

    • Possess good organizational skills and record-keeping skills.
